I had a couple of excerpts to share from my recent interview with Now Playing Podcast host @TheArnieC.
As mentioned in the article published Monday, Now Playing’s next donation series will begin soon, and the hosts are covering the Alien franchise leading up to the June 8 release of Prometheus.
I asked Arnie about the chances Now Playing would give the Alien vs. Predator films — both covered in the Predator series — another shot.
Here’s his response:
Arnie: “[Co-host] Stuart said it on Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, there’s no amount of money that people can donate to make him watch those two again. He states it in that podcast, that, to him, those don’t exist.”
So there you go, listeners won’t be getting a review from the Alien perspective (à la Freddy vs. Jason). For the record, I’d also like to think neither AVP film exists.
You can read the article on Now Playing’s Avengers series at FOX5Vegas.com. I’ll post more from my interview tomorrow.
